Jessica Dubé

Biography

Jessica Dubé is a two-time Olympian with partner Bryce Davison. The duo competed in the pairs event at Turin 2006 and Vancouver 2010. They were the top Canadian pair at both Games, finishing 10th in Turin and sixth in Vancouver.

Dubé and Davison won bronze in the pairs event at the 2008 ISU World Championships. That was their top result in five appearances at the worlds, where they never finished outside of the top seven. They previously won back-to-back silver medals at the ISU Junior World Championships in 2004 and 2005.

Dubé and Davison were three-time national champions in 2007, 2009, and 2010. They finished second at the Canadian championships in 2006 and 2008.

While competing at the 2007 ISU Four Continents Championships, Dubé was struck in the face by Davison’s skate blade while performing side-by-side camel spins during the free skate. She underwent surgery and required 83 stitches to close the laceration on her left cheek and nose. They returned to compete at the world championships a month later. They would win silver at the 2009 Four Continents Championships.

Dubé and Davison’s partnership ended in 2011. She went on to compete with Sébastien Wolfe, with whom she won silver at the 2012 Canadian Championships. She retired in 2013 after dealing with a foot injury.
